I recently took a trip with my friend Kelly Pezel down to Chariton County, Missouri to visit the place where the Ingalls family bought land near the town of Rothville. Join us for our annual Laura Ingalls Wilder birthday party. Every year we ask people to call in and tell us their Laura story. So this year’s celebration will be our 9th. Laura fans are invited to call in and share either the story of how they became a Laura Ingalls Wilder fan, their favorite Laura Ingalls Wilder related experience, or annual family traditions based on Laura. Based on requests, I’m continuing it as an hour so you’ll have plenty of time to call in. So please call in and help fill the time.
