What happened in Laura Ingalls Wilder fandom during 2020? It was Carrie Ingalls 150th birthday so lots of things were planned, but with COVID almost all of them were canceled. Laura people became another kind of pioneer, a digital kind. Two of three pageants created digital content and Alison Arngrim (Nellie Olsen) went online by reading to us. This summer we only have one Laura Ingalls Wilder event scheduled this summer and it was on August 1st at the Little House on the Prairie Museum site in Independence, KS. Then we'll check in on what events are still scheduled for this fall at the Laura Ingalls Wilder Home and Museum in Mansfield, MO. After that we'll check in on the online activities this summer especially the online pageant episodes in De Smet, SD and Mansfield, MO.
